Shiyang Q, an outstanding MBA alumni from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, has joined Kuaizi.ai. Thy has previously worked at Google Hong Kong, Microsoft Hong Kong, and Microsoft China. Thy was responsible for the landing of new cloud products in the Asia-Pacific region, including channel expansion, business development, customer success, and lighthouse projects, covering industries such as retail, manufacturing, and finance. Thy has successfully achieved market sales of millions of US dollars within 1-2 years from scratch multiple times.
Shiyang started programming in 1989 and holds a MSc degree in Information Technology from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. In 2011, thy studied machine learning under Professor Yang Qiang. Thy has landed multiple AI-empowered projects in Hong Kong, including the HK$1 billion relief fund plan for the LKS Foundation in 2019. Thy has served as a core member of teams developing mission critcal systems for enterprises in Greater China, including the next generation of betting systems for the Hong Kong Jockey Club. Thy has also participated in national projects such as the 2008 Beijing Olympics and the 2009 Shanghai World Expo as a member of the support team. Thy is also a co-founder of the music label Mutziker Lab with 15 months of AIGC practice experience.
Regarding this joining, Shiyang and CEO Winder Chen expressed their confidence and determination to expand the AIGC market of Hong Kong and Macao enterprises in the future.
