小琦结婚生娃前是做外贸销售的,当时的老板是印度人。结婚生娃之后就辞职做起了微商,在这接近七八年的时间里,再也没有接触过外贸业务,偶尔有之前的客户来找,也会推荐回去给老东家。
疫情结束后的这两年,印度客户又开始活跃起来,之前的老东家甚至不够人手接待,于是又联系了小琦,问她是否愿意回去上班,提成比之前高出了三个点。她回去带了几波客户,发现客户需求量还挺大,后面在一个行业展会接触到一个同行老大哥,老大哥跟她说自己现在注册了外贸公司,家里也有一个门店,有客人的时候就带客户看产品,没有就在家里看店,没有去上班了,客户大多数都是从社交媒体上来的。
因为小琦平时还是微商团队的一个经理级别的领队,有订单的时候依然也会兼顾,还是无法全身心回归到印度老板这边的工作。于是她帮忙带了几波客户之后找借口说自己要回家带娃和专注自己的小事业,让老板重新招人。
接着她也着手注册公司,按照老大哥给的思路,先从免费的社媒着手推广之前的一些产品,同时注册了官网,当有客户再找的时候就以自己公司的名义接单,因为有老人家帮忙带娃,平时她也会辗转不同城市的行业展会帮客户找产品,凭借着带娃前的几年经验,慢慢地她逐渐回归自己的外贸频道了。她说还是做外贸有感觉,做微商拿的利润可能需要几个月才能及得上外贸一个订单的利润。
她是专门做印度市场的,偶尔也会有客户会涉及到我们的相关产品,所以也有机会交流,比较讽刺的是最近成交的订单里,居然是印度客户订单的利润最高。
因为客户对我们产品不了解,她带客户来之前让我做报价都说在保证你们有利润的前提下还要在原来基础上加超过50%利润,因为客户是一定会讲价。
对于客户要求做的设计,一定要敢于问她预算,先把价格谈妥了再去做设计,这里涉及到讨价还价。一定要向客户表示你的产品质量是最好的,同时要准备一些样板来对照说明,有理有据。
接着她给我分享了一些来自Rebecca怼客户的英语,表示自己平时也会练,她说面对印度客户,要淡定,不要做太好说话的业务,客户也明白一分价钱一分货。

Cost-effectiveness is not just about price, but about the actual value the product brings. Just like buying a car, would you think a luxury car is low in cost-effectiveness because of its high price? In fact, it depends on its performance, confort, and brand value.
No one will intentionally push customers away because of the high prices. It's about price in the short term, but quality in the long term. If you pursue quality, please respect its price.
Buying a new product is a comprehensive consideration, not just a simple price comparison. Although our products are slightly higher in price, their quality and after-sales service are top-notch. Over the long term, you will find that they are worth more than you paid.
I never claimed to be the lowest price, because those who constantly brag about their low prices often offer the cheapest quality.
Price is indeed a factor we consider, but you should also look at quality and service. There are always some products in the market that seem cheap but have many problems when used. The cost of repair and replacement may be higher in the future.
Scammers' words are always pleasant, because they can exaggerate without limits and have no moral boundaries. my words might not be as pleasant, but I have principles.
The truth is offen unpleasant, but it is for your benefit. We will not exaggerate to please you, we prefer to provide real information and advice.
Sometimes we speak directly, but it is out of professionalism and integrity. If you prefer sweet talk, watch out of yourself.
